Our Policies
The Garth Woodside Mansion is a non-smoking facility. Rooms may be assessed for damages, and guests may be charged accordingly. Smoking, use of pipes, and vaping devices in a guest room are considered damaged. Smoking is allowed outside of the mansion, on the patio, away from the house.
Rooms and cottages are double occupancy. No pets are allowed without prior authorization. Check-in time is 4 PM to 6 PM. If you plan to arrive after 6 PM, please contact us to make arrangements.
Eating in hot tubs is prohibited. All hot tubs are cleaned and sanitized after each guest stay. Food found in hot tubs will have a cleaning fee added to the card on file. Smoking in hot tubs is prohibited; any cigarette butt, ashes, ashtrays, or butt cans found in hot tubs will have a cleaning fee added to the card on file.
Drinking wine or champagne in hot tubs is allowed, however, if a glass breaks, please let the Innkeeper know immediately, Broken glass not reported will require a cleaning fee to be added to the card on file.
Registered guests are allowed at/inside Garth Woodside Mansion. If you would like to have a guest visit while staying, you must have prior approval from the Innkeeper. We allow events and parties, but the mansion and cottages are for the exclusive enjoyment of the overnight guests.
Check-out is at 11:00 AM on your departure date. Unless previously arranged, extra fees will apply for late check-out, which is permitted only with the Innkeeper's permission prior to or at check-in.
Weekends require a two-night minimum. For one-night weekend stays, please contact us directly for availability. For security purposes, you must call us directly to cancel your reservation. We can be reached by calling 1-573-221-2789 between 10 AM and 6 PM.
