Garth-Woodside Mansion is located in Hannibal, Missouri, a Mississippi river town in the Northeast region of the state. The historical Victorian Estate is situated on 36 acres of woodlands, meadows and gardens, which allows guests to enjoy privacy and peaceful solitude. At the same time, we are conveniently located to all of the sights, shops and attractions of Hannibal, MO. Hannibal was the boyhood home of Mark Twain (Samuel Clemens) so many of the area attractions celebrate the venerated American author. When visiting this historic Missouri vacation spot, choose accommodations at Garth-Woodside Mansion. Our Hannibal bed-and-breakfast has played an important role in the history of the town, and you’ll feel that connection when you stay here. Lodging at the Mansion is a wonderful alternative to the typical hotel stay. Mark Twain slept here – so can you!

Leaving the airport head west on I-70. You will take exit 210-B toward Hannibal onto State Route 61. Head north on Route 61. As you approach Hannibal, you will pass the Grand View Cemetery on the right and a John Deere Dealership. Just after you pass the Selby Implement Dealership, the first traffic light you come to will be the intersection of Warren-Barrett Drive and US 61. Turn toward your right on Warren Barrett Drive. Go 500 yards then take the first road to the right, New London Rd. Go down about 2/3 mile, and you will see the mansion on the right.
Traveling South on State Route 61 Towards Hannibal, you are going to go under I-72/State Route 36. Continuing South on 61, head about 3.5 miles down. Turn left on the first street PAST the Hannibal Inn, this is Warren-Barrett Drive (Red Devil Road on the right). Turn Left On Warren Barrett, and go 500 yards, then turn right on New London Rd. (Springfield Electric is on the corner). Drive about 2/3 mile, and you will see the Mansion on the right.
If traveling east on I-70, take State Route 54 heading North. This is near Kingdon City, when you come to State Route 19 continue North until you come to State Route 61. The very first traffic light you come to is where you make a right turn onto Warren-Barrett Drive. (this is where you ignore your GPS if it tells you to turn on Ocean Wave, ok?) Make the first right about 1/4 mile onto New London Road and we are the first mansion on the right just a tad over 1/2 mile.
Take I-72 across the Mississippi River to Route 61 (Second Exit). Head south (left turn) onto State Route 61. Head about 3.5 miles down. Turn left on the first street PAST the Hannibal Inn, this is Warren-Barrett Road (This road is called Red Devil Road on the right). Turn Left On Warren Barrett, and go 500 yards, then turn right on New London Rd. (Springfield Electric is on the corner). Drive about 2/3 mile, and you will see the Mansion on the right.
Head north on Route 61. As you approach Hannibal, you will pass the Grand View Cemetery on the right and a John Deere Dealership. (longer drive) head north on Route 79 into Hannibal. Turn right on Broadway, turn right on Main Street, and make a right on Warren-Barrett. Travel on Warren Barrett approximately 3.75 miles. This will take you to New London Road. (Springfield Electric is on the corner) Turn left on New London Rd. and drive 2/3 mile to the mansion on the right.
